Kristy Ward
Owner & Senior Benefits Specialist
Kristy Ward founded Accord Insurance Group in 2011 with a heartfelt commitment to helping people feel supported, informed, and confident as they make important health and retirement decisions. After earning her Life, Accident & Health license in 1998, Kristy built her career on compassion, clarity, and a genuine desire to serve others.
As the first point of contact for most new clients, Kristy guides individuals through Social Security questions, Medicare enrollment, and understanding their coverage options—whether that’s a Medicare Supplement, Part D prescription plan, or Medicare Advantage. She is known for her patient, reassuring approach and her ability to make complicated topics feel simple and manageable.
Kristy also works closely with larger employer groups and HR departments, helping employees who are turning 65—and retirees—understand whether staying on their group plan or transitioning to Medicare is the best fit for their situation. Her individualized guidance ensures each person receives thoughtful, personalized recommendations.
In addition to Medicare, Kristy assists clients with dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as individual ACA health plans for those under 65. She also leads Medicare 101 educational seminars, offering clear, friendly guidance to those preparing for Medicare. Accord’s growth has come entirely through referrals from grateful clients, financial advisors, and brokers across the country who trust Kristy’s expertise and integrity—no marketing needed.
As owner, Kristy keeps Accord’s core belief—“Serving People Is Our Business”—at the center of every decision. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to honesty, compassion, and treating every client like family.
When she’s not meeting with clients or teaching seminars, Kristy enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, Scottie their 6 fur babies (4 Corgi’s, 1 Poodle, 1 American Terrier), 3 grown children and 11 grandchildren, supporting her community and appreciating the everyday moments that bring joy.
Lisa Fortenberry
Senior Benefits Specialist
Since earning her Life Accident & Health insurance license in 1998, Lisa Fortenberry has been dedicated to helping individuals, families, and small businesses find the coverage that best fits their needs. As Senior Benefits Specialist at Accord Insurance Group, she specializes in individual health insurance, Medicare supplements, and employee benefits solutions for small businesses across Oklahoma.
Lisa believes insurance is about more than policies—it's about people. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and simplify what can often feel like an overwhelming process. Her goal is to help every client feel informed, confident, and cared for, knowing they have a trusted advisor to guide them through important health care and insurance decisions.

When she's not helping clients, Lisa enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, Alan, their two grown children, Jordan and Dax, and their first granddaughter, Ellie. She proudly calls Edmond, Oklahoma, home and loves cheering on her favorite college sports teams and the Oklahoma City Thunder, attending concerts and musicals, and spending time with her family.
